Police ask for public’s help to find convicted sex offender
ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) The Allen County Sheriff’s Department has asked for the public’s help to find a convicted sex offender who failed to register.
According to 24-Hour News 8 sister station, WANE, The Allen County Sex Offender Registration and Notification Team attempted to serve an arrest warrant out of Boone County to Stanley Ray Osborne for a probation violation, but found Osborne had moved without updating his address with authorities. Osborne was convicted of three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
An additional arrest warrant for failure to register as a sex offender as now been filed.
Osborne was last seen around Fritz Road in northwest Allen County.
