Child honored for saving grandmother’s life

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 10-year-old girl who saved her grandmother’s life was treated like a queen on Thursday night.

Jasmine Nichols found her grandmother in the middle of a medical emergency last week.

She called 911 and her mother. She then stayed on the phone with dispatchers until help arrived.

Jasmine was picked up in a limo and taken to the Martindale Brightwood Neighborhood Association meeting where she was honored for her bravery.

Her grandmother was also there to watch her granddaughter be honored.
