Teen arrested after robbing 7 cell phone stores

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police have arrested a 15-year-old for allegedly stealing from seven different cell phone stores.

He was recognized when he walked into the Keystone Wireless in the 2300 block of East 34th Street.

According to the release, officers began an investigation and arrested the suspect when they confirmed that it was the same person they had seen in internal documents.

He faces almost 30 criminal charges including criminal confinement, pointing a firearm and armed robbery.

No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.

The suspect allegedly robbed the following places:

  •  2/2/16 – Metro PCS – 3637 E. 38th Street
  •  2/5/16 – Boost Mobile – 5202 N Keystone
  •  2/6/16 – Boost Mobile – 3701 N. Post Rd
  • 2/14/16 – Boost Mobile – 3790 N. Arlington
  • 2/16/16 – Metro PCS – 2339 E. 53rd St
  • 2/16/16 – Metro PCS – 1515 N. Arlington
  • 2/19/16 – Boost Mobile – 3778 N. Meridian
