INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A resolution will be passed Tuesday to honor the life and legacy of former Amy Beverland principal Susan Jordan.
According to the release, the resolution will be voted on at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Following the vote, it will move to the Senate floor sponsored by Jim Merritt.
Susan Jordan sacrificed her life when a bus jumped a curb at Amy Beverland Elementary School on Jan. 26, 2016. She pushed students out of the way. They both survived.
There will be limited seating but a live stream will be set up once the session is convened. The public can access the live stream here.
