Big Ten Tournament returns to Indianapolis with big events

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments are returning to Indianapolis this month, but there’s more to the games than basketball.

Several activities are planned during the two weeks period. Jane Jankowski from Indiana Sports Corp stopped by to share more details about the two weeks.

The tournament comes to Indianapolis every two years. And each year the games bring in thousands of fans and several events for them to do.

During the week of the men’s tournament, the Big Ten Career Expo will return to Union Station. Fans can also participate in The B1G Hoops Day 5K. It has become a tradition in downtown Indianapolis when the Big Ten Tournament is here. The run this will year be on Saturday, March 12, at 8 a.m.
