INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A forum Monday was designed to make people aware of suicidal warning signs in others.

More than 900 people took their own lives in Indiana in 2013.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention says 40,000 people commit suicide each year.

Many of those people who are contemplating suicide invite help.

Monday’s meeting was to share with people ways to reach out to those in need.

One local mother lost her osn to suicide years ago and helped others has become part of her life mission.

There is a three-hour training session set for this weekend in Indianapolis.
