Angie’s List’s new board members look to shake up company

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Angie’s List will add new board members who are looking to shake up the company. Also, new research says Indianapolis is a good city for women in technology.

Angie’s List said it will add three new members to their board. The three additions are known for share holder activism, which means they plan to change things. Semler is part owner of TCS Capital, a fun that is trying to get Angie’s List to be sold to Interactive Corp.

Indianapolis ranks fifth in the nation for women in technology. Smart Assets says Indianapolis was one of just a handful of states where women in tech make the same as men.

About 30 percent of local tech jobs are filled by women. Washington DC was the top city for women in the field.
