Danville man to compete on CMT reality show

It’s the ultimate competition show, and a local Danville man is showing us why! Jeff Long is a bodybuilder with something to prove. In applying for “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge,” he explained that he knows he won’t be the biggest guy on the ranch, but guarantees he will have the biggest punch.

I wanted to do Broken Skull first of all because I think I have what it takes to win with determination, strength, and speed. Second, I want to be on the show to show my kids that you can do anything you set your mind to.”

“Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge” is the ultimate competition show. Each week, Steve Austin brings eight elite athletes to his Broken Skull Ranch to test their strength, stamina and endurance. Each episode sees contestants go head-to-head until the last man or woman standing earns the right to take on the toughest obstacle course in America, the ‘Skullbuster,’ for a chance to win $10,000 in cold, hard cash. In the newest episode debuting Sunday, March 6 at 8/7c, Steve invites eight new male competitors to take on Drag Race, Pile Up and Splinter before one competitor gets his shot at the Skullbuster and $10,000.

Jeff had a top five finish in his first Indiana bodybuilding competition and is now focused on his second competition. When he’s not training, Jeff is an avid hunter who hunts with precision. He plans to do the same on the ranch. If successful, Jeff says he wants to put the $10,000 towards renovating his home.
