Former Tippecanoe Co. school bus driver charged with sexual misconduct with a minor

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Prosecutors have now filed charges on the former Tippecanoe School Corporation bus driver accused of sexual contact with a student.

According to 24-Hour News 8 sister station, WLFI, Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office has charged 47-year-old Tracy Konsdorf with sexual misconduct with a minor.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the victim covered the surveillance camera on the bus. However, sounds of kissing and language of what authorities call “a sexual nature” between Konsdorf and the 14-year-old female student could still be heard on the surveillance video.

Detectives say they talked to the student who admitted to having several encounters with Konsdorf during the months of January and February.

The student also admitted to once instance of being picked up early by Konsdorf and driven to the school bus to engage in kissing and hugging while covering the camera.

The 14-year-old student also told investigators she and Konsdorf would communicate via text messages. According to court documents, messages found from Konsdorf were expressing “a romantic desire.”
