Dunkin’ Donuts targets Starbucks customers

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – AMC Theaters will acquire competitor Carmike Cinemas to create the largest movie theater chain in the country.

Jane King says the deal will cost AMC $1.1 billion.

AMC has 387 theaters and Carmike has 276 theaters.

She says that gas prices are rising nationwide.

The average gallon of gas in Indiana costs $1.81.

And Dunkin’ Donuts is targeting Starbucks customers who are upset about the recent changes to the loyalty program.

According to Jane King, Dunkin’ Donuts is offering Starbucks customers $5 gift cards.
