Mild, but wet week ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Warm temperatures have returned to central Indiana, but it will come at a price, with nearly daily rain chances over the next several days.

Tuesday should be relatively quiet, with clouds, breezy conditions and mild temperatures, as highs surge to the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Multiple waves will begin to squeeze out more widespread rain chances to the area starting Wednesday for the northwestern part of the state, and for all of central Indiana on Thursday.

Both the morning and evening commute Thursday could be very wet, with heavy downpours possible. Some thunderstorms could be possible both Friday and Saturday.

Heavy rain, along with some minor flooding will be possible Wednesday through Saturday, as rainfall amounts could range between 1″-3″ over that 4 day span.
