Fort Wayne apartment raid leads to 2 drug arrests

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – An apartment was raided by the Fort Wayne Police Department Monday night, leading to the arrest of two people.

The house in the 500 block of McKinnie Ave. is known to police. A person died of a drug overdose in the same apartment in January. There was a second report of an overdose at the apartment days before the raid.

During the raid, police found 17 grams of Heroin and over $3,000. The investigation was part of an effort to reduce Heroin sales and use.

Chris McCue was arrested and charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a syringe.

34-year-old David Edward Goings was charged with 3 counts of dealing cocaine or other narcotic drug (Heroin) as well as a violation of Federal Probation Warrant.

42-year-old Chris McCue was charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a syringe.

The investigation was handled by the Fort Wayne Police Department Vice and Narcotics Bureau.
