CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – Over 50 firefighters responded to a house fire in Carmel on Wednesday.
According to the Carmel Fire Department, crews were called to the 10000 block of Coopergate Drive for a residence fire around 3:30 a.m. That’s near 106th Street.
The large home was fully involved when crews arrived on scene.
Officials say everyone in the home was able to make it out before firefighters arrived on scene. The family was OK.
Due to the large fire Carmel called in the Pike Township Fire Department for backup.
Crews were still working to put out flames around 4:30 a.m.
