Police searching for Franklin hit and run suspect

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a hit and run suspect that caused serious bodily injury.

The Franklin Police Department responded to an accident on Feb. 23 that occurred on East King Street.

Police say the accident caused serious bodily injury to the two people in the vehicles left on the scene.

Witnesses say the suspect’s vehicle is a small, tan, SUV with four doors. The driver is described as a white male, possibly in his 20’s with dark hair.

The suspect’s vehicle is reported to have severe damage to the front bumper and damage on the driver’s side.
