Man charged in deadly December street racing crash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man has been charged in a fatal December crash that claimed the lives of three.

Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry announced Connor Tomlinson has been charged with three counts of reckless homicide as a result of the crash.

Rebeca Rodriguez-Gomez, her daughter Jasmine Aldai and Rogelio Legorreta died as a result of the fatal crash.

It’s believed that Tomlinson’s Ford Mustang was traveling at least 81 mph southbound on South East Street when he lost control of the vehicle. The Mustang then hit the median, going airborne and then hit Roglio Legorreta’s Chevy Trailblazer headed northbound.

Prior to the fatal crash, witnesses say that Tomlinson’s car and one other vehicle were at a red light revving their engines.

Tomlinson has turned himself in to IMPD.
