3 arrested, facing preliminary drug charges in White Co.

WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Indiana State Police arrested three people in White County on various drug charges Thursday.

According to a release from ISP, an anonymous tip led to the arrests.Police were let inside the residence and an investigation led them to obtain a search warrant. While executing the search, police found several one-pot and HCL generators used to produce methamphetamine. Police said that several precursors used to make meth were also located inside the residence.

Around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, troopers from ISP and the White County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence located at 6827 E. 175 North near Monticello. Officers were greeted by the homeowner, 48-year-old Robert Collins.

Three adults and one child were inside the residence. All three adults were arrested and face various drug-related charges.

Collins was preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

Dawn Rains, 31, of the same address, was preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, manufacturing methamphetamine and taking a child to a common nuisance.
