Community remembers NE side teen fatally shot
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A community came together Friday night to grieve the loss of a teenage boy.
Tyren Whitley, 18, was shot last Friday at 32nd Street and Gladstone Avenue.
The shooting happened right next to the Church of Glory, and that’s exactly where the pastor and others gathered to remember Whitley.
His grandmother said she loved her grandson very much.
The Church of Glory is also holding a special prayer service for friends and family of Whitley on Sunday at noon.
