Lebanon teen found stabbed multiple times in chest

LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) – A Lebanon teen was found stabbed multiple times in the chest Saturday evening.

According to police in Lebanon, police were responding to a call of a person stabbed Saturday night when they discovered 19-year-old Nicholas Bishop suffering from multiple stab wounds to his chest.

Bishop was discovered in the 700 block of West South Street in Lebanon around 9:30 p.m.

Police said Bishop was transported to an Indianapolis hospital for what was being called life-threatening injuries. As of Sunday evening, Bishop was in critical condition.

Then around 11:30 p.m. a juvenile was taken into custody by authorities.  Police say the suspect is currently being held in the juvenile detention center pending the filing of formal charges.

The investigation into the stabbing continues.
