Raise a Glass To Support Fallen Firefighters

Firefighters2Indy’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day Party is March 17-19 in Carmel, Indiana and Firefighter Tim is here to tell us how the annual Carmel Fire Department “pumper pull” and “keg toss” will once again raise funds for the Firefighters Bereavement Fund created to help the family of a fallen firefighter.

This year marks the 8th consecutive year the Brockway has teamed up with Carmel Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 4444 to raise funds for the Firefighters Bereavement Fund, a passion of Brockway co-founder, the late Lainie Paul. Proceeds from a $2 wristband fee for entry, plus money raised in T-shirt sales, the keg toss, pumper pull and other donations will go toward the Firefighter Bereavement Fund.

Tim also brought with him some Irish beer, alsong with some festive performers, dressed to the nines in Celtic and Scottish apparel, playing us a traditional bagpipe melody. Also, Ian Rappert of the Ian Rappert Band plays us an acoustic drinking song to get us in the holiday “spirit”.  Spirits provided!
