IMPD: Victim injured during north side drive-by shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are looking for a suspect involved in a drive by shooting on the city’s north side.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department dispatchers, a victim was shot near E. 30th Street and Baltimore Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

IMPD called in aggravated assault to investigate the scene. Witness say a navy blue Buick Century with tinted windows was seen fleeing northbound on Baltimore.

Police don’t believe the injuries were life threatening.

Other details about the shooting weren’t immediately clear.
