Ben Lyons is the lead host of IMDb’s Golden Globes and Academy Awards coverage, his movie reviews can be heard weekly on Mario Lopez’s internationally syndicated radio show, and his awards predictions are featured on Elle.com. Over the years Ben has worked as the film correspondent for E!, EXTRA, Oscar.com, and Yahoo!, covering every major awards show and film release. Ben’s latest venture is as chief correspondent and “voice of the fans” at Derek Jeter’s theplayerstribune.com. His duties include hosting the Tribune’s weekly radio show on Sirius/XM, hosting his own video series in partnership with AOL called ‘Real Fan Life’, as well as a podcast of the same name, and moderating live streams and panels at NBA All Star Weekend, SXSW, and The Super Bowl. Born and raised in New York City, Ben is the grandson of legendary New York Post columnist Leonard Lyons, and is the son of film and theater critic Jeffrey Lyons. The Lyons family has been covering pop culture in American media for more than 80 years.
