Gary Brackett’s Impact Foundation is a 501 c3 non-profit organization founded in 2007 that exists to promote health, advance education, and relieve the poor, distressed and underprivileged by providing resources and opportunities to children, including those who are mentally and/or physically challenged and those who are socioeconomically disadvantaged. The Foundation delivers its mission in four high impact ways: IMPACT Ready (aimed at empowering underserved teens and young adults with the soft skills necessary to secure and maintain employment; IMPACT Works (designed to create short-term employment opportunities to allow individuals to build their resumes in hospitality while earning above average wages); Gary’s Lockers which stocks lockers in children’s hospitals across the region with toys and books to occupy young people visiting a sick sibling in the hospital); and TendHER Heart Luncheon and Education Programs (aimed at celebrating, educating, and pampering mothers of sick children, particularly underserved and single mothers).
