Indianapolis man arrested for theft

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – An Indianapolis man was arrested after Carmel police found stolen items in his vehicle.

According to the release, 32-year-old Anthony Jamison Jr. was observed trying to break into a witness’ car around 3 a.m. on March 11.

Police later found a silver Kia Soul traveling down Springmill Road. It matched the description the witness provided.

After stopping the vehicle for minor traffic violations, police found stolen property in the car.

Jamison was arrested with preliminary charges of theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

As of Wednesday afternoon, he is Hamilton County Jail with his bond set at $6,000.
