Two teens arrested after armed robbery at Burger King with airsoft gun

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two teens robbed a Burger King with an airsoft gun, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

IMPD officials said the Burger King near 16th Street and Tibbs Avenue was robbed just after midnight on Wednesday.

Officers were told by witnesses that three males were seen getting into a gray PT Cruiser. Minutes later, the vehicle was stopped in the 3400 block of Lafayette Road. One of the occupants fled the vehicle. Two teen males, ages 15 and 16, were arrested. Three females inside of the vehicle were interviewed and released.

Police found an airsoft gun in the vehicle, which police said looked like a real gun.
