Police: Two stops result in drug arrests

JACKSON COUNTY,Ind. (WISH) – Two traffic stops resulted in drug arrests.

According to Indiana State Police, the arrests happened Wednesday in southern Indiana.

Police went on to say that the first arrest happened after Justin Callaway was pulled over for two traffic violations on I-65 near Seymour. Callaway was found to have nearly 30 grams of marijuana and more than $2,000 in counterfeit U.S. currency.

Callaway was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he faces several preliminary charges including possession of marijuana with a prior, and driving while suspended with a prior, and counterfeiting.

Sean Jones was later stopped by police. He was found with marijuana, digital scales, and a prescription drug.  The passenger in the vehicle, James Warren, was also found to be in possession of pot.

Cook was also taken to the Jackson County Jail and preliminary charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a legend drug. However, Warren was preliminary charged with marijuana possession, cited and then released from the scene.
