DPW starts work to fill 900 potholes

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Department of Public Works will be out in full force filling potholes around the city.

Hot asphalt plants are set to open on Monday. That means the Indianapolis Department of Public Works can start to permanently patch potholes in the city.

DPW will have 21 crews working overtime through Thursday of this week to remain ahead of pothole requests. DPW says they have about 900 open requests to fill potholes.

This year, there have been 35,000 fewer requests than this time last year.

To file a request you can call the Mayor’s Action Center at 317-327-4MAC or online.
