INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — IMPD made an arrest on Tuesday of a murder suspect.
An arrest warrant was put out on March 18 for 20-year-old Junious Jackson.
He was wanted for the murder of Rozzell Moore on February 21. Moore was 67 years old.
According to the release, IMPD located Jackson on Tuesday for two outstanding warrants. One warrant was for the murder and the other was for an unrelated theft.
The fatal shooting occurred in the 3700 block of North Keystone Avenue just after 1 a.m. on February 21.
Police found Moore who was suffering from a gun shot wound to the chest.
He was originally transported to the hospital in critical condition. However, police confirmed he later died.
Jackson was taken into custody and is being held at the Arrestee Processing Center.
