IMPD looking for suspect wanted in 2 armed robberies

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police in Indianapolis are looking for a female bank robbery suspect.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials say they need help from the public to track down a woman wanted in a Jan. 14 robbery at a Chase Bank located at 9991 E. Washington Street.

Police say a black female handed a note to the teller. The note said that the bank was being robbed and she had a gun. The teller gave the suspect cash before they fled in a silver Mazda. The car had Indiana handicapped plate with the numbers D862QG.

According to police, the same suspect was also involved in a robbery at the Allied Cash Advance at 7530 Shadeland Avenue on Jan. 20. In that robbery she was with a black male who was armed with a gun, police say. The suspects fled in a stolen Kia Spectra. The car was later recovered in the 7500 block of Bayview Club Drive.
