Police investigate deadly shooting on east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in an apartment complex near 21st and Mitthoeffer Road. Around midnight, someone called police reporting a person shot in the Lakeview Terrace apartment complex.

When police arrived they found a man who had been shot. He was later pronounced dead.

According to the police report, the victim was 22 years old. IMPD has not released any further information about the victim’s identity.

Police have not released any suspect descriptions yet, and no suspect information was listed in the police report.
