Vigil held for quadruple homicide victims one year later

INDIANAPOLIS Ind. (WISH) – A vigil is planned for Thursday morning on Harding street.

It was one year ago Thursday three women and a 18-year-old man were found inside this home shot to death. Police still don’t have a suspect.

Police released the names of the victims hoping it would help bring in tips. 18-year old Davon Whitlock, 32-year-old Tiara Turner, 41-year-old Terri Betties, 48-year-old Sherry Taylor, all of Indianapolis were all found dead inside the home.

Investigators believe that 18-year-old Whitlock came over to the house on Harding Street to pick up his mother Terri when he was shot and killed with the three other women.

Investigators also said one of the women Tiara Turner may have been targeted by the killer. From the beginning, police said this was not a random act.

Thursday morning, the families of the victims will come together for a vigil to remember their loved ones.

Reverend Charles Harrison will be in attendance later. He was also here a year ago and says the community needs to come out to help police.

The Vigil is set to begin at 8:45 Thursday morning.

If you have any information on the homicides call 262-TIPS.
