Police make arrests in connection to east side armed robbery
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has made several arrests in connection to an east side armed robbery.
Three juveniles have been taken into custody by IMPD for the armed robbery of a Family Dollar in the 3800 block of North German Road.
According to IMPD, armed robbery occurred just after 9 a.m. Friday morning. Officers in the area arrived on scene momentarily and it was at that time that a short vehicle pursuit ensued.
The suspects were soon after arrested in the 3500 block of Alpine Place.
IMPD was assisted in the apprehension of the suspects by the Lawrence Police Department.
The three suspects face several preliminary charges for robbery with the possibility of others to follow.
No one was hurt over the course of the robbery, chase and arrest.
