Crean consoles IU freshman Bryant after loss to UNC

PHILADELPHIA (WISH) – The season came to an end for the IU Men’s Basketball team Friday night in Philadelphia in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

The Hoosiers fell 101-86 to Roy Williams and the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. Some members of the team took the loss especially hard.

The realization that the season had come to an end devastated IU’s Thomas Bryant.

Moments after the game, IU head coach Tom Crean consoled the freshman.

Bryant finished with 12 points and eight rebounds in the season-ending loss Friday evening.
