Trader Joe’s recalling Chocolate Orange Sticks, Chocolate Raspberry Sticks

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says Trader Joe’s of Monrovia, California is recalling all of Trader Joe’s Chocolate Orange Sticks and Chocolate Raspberry Sticks because the products may contain more than the stated traces of milk on the label.

According to a release, the codes for the products are UPC 00847162 and UPC 00847122.

The FDA said the affected product has been removed from store shelves.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk are warned they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.

Trader Joe’s Chocolate Orange Sticks and Trader Joe’s Chocolate Raspberry Stick are packaged in an 18 oz. clear tub.

The products were distributed to Trader Joe’s stores nationwide.

Two allergic reactions have been reported.

Customers who purchased the Trader Joe’s Chocolate Orange Sticks and/or Trader Joe’s Chocolate Raspberry Sticks may return them to the store for a full refund.
