Fire destroys barbershop on near north side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Firefighters responded to a building fire late Monday night.
According to the release, the building had no working smoke detectors. Firefighters were alerted to the fire when they were returning from an EMS run.
One side of the building is occupied by Million Haires Barbershop. The other side is unoccupied. Firefighters estimate the damage at $150,000.
No injuries were reported and it is unclear how the fire started.
