THPD looking for two suspects after armed robbery in 2000 block of 2nd Ave

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Terre Haute Police responded to an armed robbery overnight in the 2000 block of 2nd Avenue.

It happened at 2034 2nd Avenue, just before 2 a.m. when the victim reported he heard a knock on his door. When he answered the door, he said two white males, wearing masks, forced their way into the apartment.

The victim told police that the two males battered him and took several items before taking off on foot. Officers who responded were unable to locate the two suspects.

Both are being described as being in their 20’s; one is about 5’6”-5’9” tall with a stocky build and the other is described as being 5’10”- 6’0” tall with a thin to medium build. Officials report a firearm was displayed during the robbery.
