Man sentenced to 20 years for child molesting charge

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A Frankfort man is sentenced to two decades behind bars for child molesting.

According to 24-Hour News 8 sister station, WLFI, Tippecanoe County Prosecutors said the crime happened in 2015 in Lafayette .

Zachery Bumbleburg, 21, pleaded guilty in February to one count of child molesting. Prosecutors said the victim was a 4-year-old girl.

According to the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office, Bumbleburg inappropriately touched the girl at a home between August and October of 2015.

Bumbleburg was sentenced Friday afternoon, April 1, to 20 years in the Department of Corrections.
