Tourney Town brings Final Four fun to fans

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Bankers Life Fieldhouse is hosting the women’s NCAA Final Four this weekend, but the action isn’t limited to the basketball court.

Before fans filed into Bankers Life, many enjoyed a visit to Tourney Town in downtown Indianapolis.

A youth basketball clinic, mascot challenge and pep rally were all part of the festivities celebrating Connecticut, Oregon State, Syracuse and Washington.

A cooking demonstration featured local chefs.

Organizers say Tourney Town is a great way to show off Indianapolis to basketball fans visiting the city for the first time.

WNBA coaches and players were also on hand to answer questions from the crowd.
