Autopsy conducted, deceased identified in Hendricks County investigation

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — An autopsy has been conducted in a Hendricks County death investigation that began on Saturday.

52-year-old Lora Edwards was found dead in a home in the 10200 block of Homestead Drive on Saturday afternoon. An autopsy conducted Sunday didn’t find any signs of trauma. Toxicology results are pending, as are cause and manner of death.

Also involved was her husband, 62-year-old Brian Edwards. He was shot twice and transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. As of Friday afternoon, he is still in critical condition.

The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into what happened in the home.
