Wanted West Virginia man arrested in Hamblen County after car accident, stolen paddle boat
MORRISTOWN (WATE) – The Hamblen County’s Sheriff’s Department arrested a West Virginia man on a paddle boat Monday morning.
Investigators say Bruce White, 53, fled the scene of an accident after wrecking his car on Copper Ridge Road near Brights Pike.
The suspect was caught after investigators believe he stole a paddle boat and took it to the middle of Cherokee Lake.
The suspect is wanted for violating parole on murder and aggravated robbery convictions.
