INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The iPhone is making history.

The billionth-iPhone is expected to be sold within the next few months.

By the end of 2015, Apple said it sold about $896 million.

The new iPhone is scheduled to come out soon, which will help increase sales.

Experts said if the trend continues, Apple will sell its two billionth iPhone by the end of the decade.

The phone made its debut in June 2007.
