Early voting for 2016 primary begins in Indiana Tuesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Early voting in Indiana begins Tuesday for the 2016 primary.

Voters don’t need a reason to vote early, they can just go to the clerk’s office and show a valid government ID. All registered voters are eligible to vote early in-person. In Marion County, voters can cast their ballot at the clerk’s office on Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On weekends, early voting hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 23, April 24, April 30 and May 1.

Monday, May 2 is the last day of early voting and election day is Tuesday, May 3.

Registered can also start voting absentee-by-mail today.  There are several requirements people must meet to vote by mail. You can read more early voting and all the requirements here.
