22-year-old charged for having sex with teen

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A 22-year-old Lafayette man faces charges after investigators say he had sex with a 14-year-old.

According to court documents, the victim says she got drunk and had sex with Sawyer Lamberg in October 2014. She came forward to police about six weeks ago. However, another witness believes the incident happened in the fall of 2015.

A witness told police she dropped the victim off at a pharmacy near Lamberg’s house, then picked her up the next day. Another witness says the victim had been sending Lamberg naked photographs.

He faces a felony charge of sexual misconduct with a minor and a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
