Dental assistant arrested for allegedly sedating, molesting young girl

CONCORD, Calif. (KRON) – Police have arrested a Concord dental assistant accused of sedating and molesting a young girl, according to police.

Police arrested Alejandro Saro, 24-year-old Antioch resident, on several charges of child molestation by force, police said.

On Saturday, officers responded to a report of a suspected child molestation that occurred at the La Clinica Monument dental office, located at 2000 Sierra Road.

Police say a young girl was in an exam room when Saro allegedly touched and photographed her vaginal area.

The girl later told what happened to her relative, who immediately contacted police.

Investigators say there may be more potential victims who were inappropriately touched and videoed many while under the influence of medical gas.

Saro had been working at the dental office since March of 2015. Before working at La Clinica Monument, Saro was also employed with Concord’s Patino Orthodontics, Western Dental, and Antioch’s Western Dental.

Saro was booked at the Concord Police Department and later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility for incarceration and is currently being held on an $8.1 million bail.
