Driver identified in fatal Avon crash

AVON, Ind. (WISH) – Authorities have released the name of a woman killed in an accident Wednesday night at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and County Road 100 South.

Avon police responded to the accident at approximately 8:25 p.m. Wednesday.

26-year-old Lisa Strueh of Avon was transported to the hospital, where she later died as a result of her injuries. The driver of the other car and his passenger were treated for minor injuries and later released.

A number of witnesses have come forward to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing. The driver of the other vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.
