Indy company announces job cuts, closure

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A local company is pulling out of Indianapolis. Also, airports are hubs for lots of mobile devices, so where does Indianapolis rank in terms of speed?

Just three years after announcing a major restructuring, a food and beverage company says it plans to close its Indianapolis facility. In a notice to the state, Sensient Flavors say 86 employees are expected to lose their jobs by the end of the year. The job cuts will start in July.

In other business news, the Indianapolis International Airport ranks well nationally for internet speeds. Rootmetrics, ranked the 50 largest airports and put IND at 14. The fastest local carrier at IND was AT&T.
