New York Times bestselling authors coming to Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 36th Annual Christamore House Guild Book and Author benefit luncheon is happening this Friday in Indianapolis. It’s a chance for book lovers to hear from six bestselling authors, to meet them, and get signed copies of their latest books.
New York Times bestselling authors Lauren Belfer and Laurie R. King are two of the authors that will attend the luncheon. The Book and Author event is the third largest event of it’s kind in the country. In the last 35 years, the event has raised more than 2 million dollars in scholarship money to help students in the Haughville area of Indianapolis, go to college.
Angela Ostrowski, president of the Christamore House Guild, and Niral Patel, 2016 Warren Ross Scholarship recipient stopped by WISH-TV to talk more about the event.
