Morgan Co. officials ask for help to find killer in cold case homicide

MOORESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a killer in a cold case homicide.

According to a release from Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana, the Madison Township Fire Department was called to the 5300 block of Dayhuff Road in Morgan County for a residence fire in 2004. Police said they found a female body deceased inside the home. They identified the body as Ronli Ratliff, 24.

Authorities said Ronli was the victim of a violent death inside the home. They said evidence showed the fire was set after her death, in an attempt to cover up the crime.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office cold case team is investigating the case.
