BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed the zika virus does cause microcephaly and other birth defects. And health officials say the zika virus is worse than originally thought. This has left many people fearing mosquitoes which carry the disease.
