Ohio family surprised when soldier mom comes home early

 RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) – A family is together again after a mother’s deployment comes to an end.

Sergeant Megan Moylan was deployed Sept. 2015 to serve overseas.

Saturday she came back home surprising her family at a volleyball game at St. Helen catholic school. Her five children and husband were elated to see her home.

Moylan says now it’s all about spending time doing the little things. “I’m super excited. It’s nice to be home and the little things in life like being able to drink water out of the tap,” Moylan said. “You don’t think about how exciting that is or green grass. I know you guys just had some snow, but it’s still nice to still see some color.”

Sgt. Moylan was supposed to come next month but was able to surprise her family coming home a little early.
