Lafayette police investigating stabbing

 LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Police are investigating after two people were found stabbed in Lafayette Saturday night.

Just after 7 p.m., police were called to the 2500 block of Richmond Court in Cambridge Estates Apartment Complex. Officers found one victim with stab wounds.

Police then located another victim in the 1600 block of South Creasy Lane. Both men were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Lafayette Police Sgt. Grant Snyder said the stabbing is still under investigation, but he believes the two victims knew each other.

Snyder said it was an isolated incident. Police said they are not looking for another person of interest.
